Benefits of Tea Tree Oil

I decided to write about the benefits of Tea Tree Oil.  It is one of my favorites, I use it weekly.  When I was working in the medical field I didn't like using the hand sanitizer they gave us to use.  So I decided to do a little research of my own and I discovered that Tea Tree Oil does the same job and much more!  I put several drops of it in my hand and body lotion.  It is a natural antibacterial.  It's strong to smell but I love it!
Tea Tree Oil, also known as Melaleuca, is a natural disinfectant that was commonly used as a general antiseptic by the aborigine tribes for thousands of years.  The scientific community has confirmed that Tea Tree Oil has tremendous medical benefits.  Uses of Tea Tree Oil is skin infections like acne, boils and carbuncles, toenail fungus and warts.  It can be used to treat bad breath, inflamed gums and plaque (look up the recipes).  Studies have shown that Tea Tree Oil can cure dandruff and help get rid of head lice!
I'm not saying that Tea Tree Oil is for everybody but if you are looking for a natural way to go to treat anything I mentioned, just do a little research and give it a try.  You may be surprised at what Tea Tree Oil can do for you!

Benefits of Almond Oil

I decided to blog about the benefits of almond oil.  Why? you may ask.  Well I prefer to do all natural healthy remedies, that usually cost less.  Several years back, probably five, one of my finger nails started splitting down the center.  I had never had this before and have always had nice nails.  It really bothered me.  So I did a big no-no and started getting my nails done.  Yes, I decided that acrylic nails would somehow solve my problem.  After two years of acrylic nails, which is expensive, I had them removed and the same nail continued to split.  And now on top of that all of my other nails were really thin.  I was not happy.  So I kept them short and just waited.  I finally asked one of the dermatologist doctors I was working for why my one nail has been splitting all of these years and what could I do to fix it?  He simply said that it was just to dry.  He told me to try nail and hair vitamins from a health food store,  and he told me to try rubbing olive oil or saffron oil.  I took the vitamins and rubbed the olive oil and it really just didn't improve.  I was disappointed.  Then I recently discovered almond oil.  I was watching Dr. Oz and there is was one day, the answer to my problem that had plagued for for five years!  I went to the health food store and purchased a bottle of almond oil.  And after just a few short weeks of use my nail stopped splitting!!!  YIPPEE!!  I was thrilled.  I then discovered that almond oil has many uses and I use it every night!  I now can't live without my almond oil.  So here are some facts on almond oil:
Almond oil is extracted from two types of almonds, sweet almonds and bitter almonds.  Almond oil has high contents of vitamin E, B, dietary fiber, essential minerals and monounsaturated fats.  It can be used to treat skin problems like rashes, itching and stretch marks ( I've got those too!).  Almond oil is a natural moisturizer and anti-aging properties.  Regular use for the face help to prevent wrinkles!  Who doesn't LOVE that??? Almond oil helps remedy dark circles.  Regular massage of the eyes with almond oil stimulates blood circulation and helps reduce dark circles around the eyes.
Almond oil is a great hair tonic.  It prevents and stops hair loss.  Massaging the hair with almond oil makes them thicker, stronger and healthier.  Almond oil is also an effective treatment and cure for dandruff!  Makes your hair really silky soft.
Almond oil has numerous health benefits too.  It's helps to lower cholesterol level, stimulates the digestive system, has pain relieving properties.  Almond oil is a brain tonic and helps improve memory and retaining power. Almond oil proves to be one of the best therapies for health and beauty.  So go pick yourself up a bottle and give it a try, you just might be surprised!
